About Me
Hi, I’m Yilei Man. I have been a Research Assistant in the Department of Computing (COMP) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University since June 2026, supervised by Prof. Jingcai Guo.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Electronic Information Science and Technology from Tsinghua University in 2021, followed by my master’s degree in Electronic Engineering and Information from The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2024. After completing my master’s degree, I worked for over a year as an Algorithm Engineer at the Nanjing Institute of Intelligent Technology (NIIT), affiliated with the Institute of Microelectronics, The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). During this time, my work spanned spiking neural networks, neural architecture search, and 3D perception and tracking for autonomous driving.
My current research interests include world models, representation learning, and robotics.
